Rules for ALL Stays and Events
Action Plan for Emergency Response
Ensure immediate safety of all persons in attendance
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
TOILETS - We are on a SEPTIC SYSTEM.
Avoid Plumbing Backups and issues during your stay
Please do not flush any products except toilet paper in the toilets
WATER - All water coming from faucets and taps come from our Well.
Well Water in this area is not safe for consumption.
DO NOT USE for Drinking, Coffee, Ice Trays or Cooking.
Washing Dishes, Shower/Bath, Handwashing Toothbrushing etc. is OK.
5-gallon Purified Water Dispenser is provided. Extra Jugs located in Pantry and/or Garage
FIRE – We have Wood Stoves, Ovens, Smokers, BBQs and Firepits
throughout the property.
Please note the locations of all fire extinguishers placed throughout the property. Practice Fire Safety during your stay!
- Children and Pets must be always monitored by an adult
- Must adhere to capacity limits and parking rules
- Smoking allowed in designated area ONLY
- No Fireworks or explosives
- No discharging or use or Firearms allowed
- All guests and vendors will adhere to pre-negotiated arrival and departure times and
- All vendors must contact the owner and provide necessary documents
- Noise curfew of 11 PM – 6 AM
- Music, Announcements, Socializing will maintain levels of 70db or less
- No changes or alterations to be made to property or landscape without prior approval. (example: nails, glues, decorations, attached to bldg.)
- Must notify Owners/In-Charge person for vehicles left overnight and exit plan
- No illegal activity or Drug use allowed
Action Plan for Emergency Response
- Assess the situation and handle any immediate Emergency–
Ensure immediate safety of all persons in attendance
- Evacuate - Guide the guests and other individuals to safe zone if needed – located South Side lower parking area alongside Highway 21
- CALL 911 – FOR EMERGENCY
- Alert ALL applicable parties – Venue Owners/Thorn Creek Fire contact/Neighbors if needed
- Proceed to entrance Highway 21 and clear any pathway if needed and allow access for EMS/FIRE vehicles

User Guides and how-tos
WIFI
NETWORK NAME - WISHINGWELL
PASSWORD – woodstock101
(To use your cell phone just log into WIFI and enable WIFI calling)
2nd Wifi Network for slightly extended range in Garage/Outside - " WISHINGWELL- EXT" (SAME PASSWORD)
LANDLINE PHONE NUMBER – 208-392-6715
This equipment is located on the main floor (2nd level) living room on the black cabinet by the corner windows. If you have any trouble you may want to unplug the router for several minutes. Plug back in and wait for the system to reset.
LAUNDRY – Please strip only the beds that were slept in or used for the housekeeper. Feel free to use the washer and dryer. Soap and softener sheets are located just above the washer in the cabinet. You are not expected to do any laundry other than your own personal items. The housekeepers will /launder and change all the used beds after your departure.
LOWER LEVEL - Wood Stove Instruction
- If needed clean out ash from stove with tools and ash bin
- Use smaller kindling wood pieces to build crisscross pattern first
- ADD 1 or 2 Fire Sticks OR Paper /Cardboard piece
- Set fire with lighter or Use TORCH – CAUTION with Children - TORCH is powerful
- Keep door open to allow airflow while first small fire gets going
DO NOT leave unattended while door is open
- ADD one medium to full-size piece of wood - allow that piece to catch fire
- Add one regular piece at a time to keep good solid fire going - stacked pieces in somewhat crisscross pattern to allow airflow
- You can close and latch both doors once you have rolling fire.
Should be good to go once you have rolling fire. Just add 1 piece at a time when needed . every few hours or so. Sometimes the challenge is getting a good fire to start. Monitor it to start. Call if needed. 208-571-8383 Thanks – Stay Warm and Enjoy the Mountains!
GARAGE - Pellet Stove Instruction
-Make sure power cord is plugged in
-FLIP switch on wall thermostat to heat/
You will hear the fan come on and pellets drop briefly
-After 60 seconds - PRESS small black reset button on the back of the stove unit (this will prime the unit to drop more pellets)
-After an additional 60 seconds, repeat PRESS black reset button again
This is an older unit and may need to be primed a few times.
-Make sure hopper is full of pellets. Flip up lid on top.
No other action should be needed. Initial heat up can take some time.
MISCELLANEOUS:
The large wheeled garbage can should STAY placed on the highway next to mailbox for Pickup. Trash is collected on Wednesday Morning, so you may want to put the can out Tuesday night.
The pack-n-play baby crib and baby gate is located upstairs master bedroom closet.
LG SMART TV is located on the lower level in the den and has one remote. You can log in to your various streaming APPS (Netflix, Hulu, etc).
There are two air horns located in one of the drawers at the kitchen island. You may want to carry these with you while moving around the property or hiking, in case you run up on a large animal of some kind.
